We are looking for an enthusiastic Food Developer who can help us create new and exciting dishes for our various concepts such as DADAWAN and Parkstad Plaza.

Job description:
As a Food Developer at LD Group you are responsible for inventing, designing and testing new dishes that will surprise our guests time and time again. You will work closely with our experienced culinary team to develop innovative menu items that meet our high standards for taste, presentation and efficiency.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Identifying new food trends and culinary innovations

• Developing and adapting recipes for different cuisines and concepts

• Carefully testing and adjusting dishes to ensure consistent quality

• Collaborate with suppliers to source quality ingredients

• Have an eye for efficiency and cost control in the kitchen processes

• Documenting recipes, preparation methods and presentation guidelines

• Contribute to menu engineering and food pricing

 

Profile of the ideal candidate:

• Demonstrable experience in the culinary world, preferably in various kitchens

• Passion for food and innovation, with an eye for detail

• Excellent communication skills and team spirit

• Creative mindset and able to think out-of-the-box

• Willingness to work in a kitchen environment as well as in the office

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs

• Culinary training and knowledge of food safety are a plus
